CRONOSPROJECT.org GPL approved to go online again asap

"Temporarily Offline

Sorry, the site is offline. We'll be back soon.
GPL Approved! Need to make some changes to my source code."

that bold bits what counts.  Feeyo did it - he's clean now - some changes to be made.

Then one of the most controversial underground android rom developers will be back online!

TAKE THAT IN YOUR PIE HOLE LOXDEV

Aye.  This is a sign of good things to come

  1. "TAKE THAT IN YOUR PIE HOLE LOXDEV" Why? If anything, Feeyo should "take that" since he lost against the GPL. He has to edit his faggy kernel so his closed-source bits are loadable modules. GPL approved.

It wasn't a direct dig against Feeyo at all. It was the fact the GPL was breached and that's just not open source spirit, someone found out and it got reported.

  2. Feeyo has been doing what he was doing for a long time. Then Lox came by and was planning to build his own Gingerbread but, that ginger would have been crap compared to the ginger of Cronos. So what did he do. He reported him.

Why didn't he do it like 2 months ago. Cuss all of XDA and all of CM knew what Feeyo was doing.

Well simple, he wanted to be the best. Lox that is. And that's why he was so pathetic on the Cronos site. And that is why he took the actions that he took.

But apparently you cant look trough all the facts that are there... Are you a CM fanboy??

Before you ask, No I am not a Cronos fanboy. I just pick the rom that is the best for my phone. And CM7 is definitely not that.

And to just tell you, no one won, Feeyo is just gonna change some stuff and then he is going back to doing what he is good at. Making roms for the Hero.

  3. Think what you think. I personally was against this purely because of the GPL. I don't believe it's because "Feeyo was better". After all, you could just rip apart his ROM and the kernel was open-source, so you can get all his changes anyway. That's how open-source software works.

The bits that he was reported for a pretty much useless to anyone anyway, a CPU governor and CPU scheduler, there's plenty of them for Android already. The fact is, they were closed in a GPL kernel.

You may see it as a personal dig at Feeyo becuase of the past, or you may see it as protecting the GPL and the spirit of the open-source community. Just my 0.02.

    I'm not a CM fanboy. I don't use CM. In fact, I don't even own a Hero.
